The star-studded dinner was hosted by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, Vanity Fair Editor Graydon Carter, and PPR Chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault.
What did everyone wear? Let’s find out!

Jennifer Connelly bared some leg in a sassy one-of-a-kind short sleeve cocktail dress that was completely embroidered with deep green metallic overlapping paillettes. She complimented the shimmery detailing with a gold box clutch and black velvet peep toe evening sandals with a gold heel.
Jennifer got chummy with actress Bérénice Bejo, who opted for a gown. Berenice wore a black long sleeve Pre-Fall 2012 gown with a plunging neckline and gorgeous emerald beaded embroidery at the waist. She wore her long tresses up and finished off with Gucci accessories; leather and suede evening sandals and a matching clutch.
Bérénice also wore a pair of Chopard cabochon emerald earrings set in 18-carat white gold, paired with Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection dragon ring, featuring a heart-shaped emerald (13 carats) set with colored diamonds, white diamonds, black diamonds and orange sapphires.

Naomi Watts was all about rocking feathers! The Australian actress wore a one-of-a-kind sleeveless pale grey iridescent paillette dress with a matching crystal embroidered belt at the drop waist. Her entire skirt was embroidered with pale grey to lilac degrade ostrich feathers! Naomi completed her look with a champagne satin evening clutch and matching peep toe high heeled evening sandals with crystal encrusted heels.
As for her jewels, Naomi wore a Chopard white diamond strand necklace (57 carats) set in platinum. She also wore a pair of white diamond drop earrings and white diamond bracelet, both set in 18-carat white gold.
Salma Hayek looked like she was going to pop out of her one-of-a-kind strapless midnight blue, sequin paillette embroidered cocktail dress. This look definitely needed to be pushed up higher and fit to her bust a bit better. The design featured three dimensional floral embroidery around the neckline and waist.
Salma finished off her look with blue suede, open toe platform pumps, red lips and lots and lots of dark blue eyeshadow.
Natasha Poly looked so good that it was almost unfair. The stunning model was otherworldly in a one-of-a-kind pale pink beaded halterneck gown. This unbelievable dress featured an open back and a plunging neckline — she was working the heck out of it!
She finished off her look with a pale gold satin box clutch and champagne suede high heeled evening sandals.

Robert De Niro arrived with his wife Grace Hightower, who was donned in a black version of a orange leather dress seen in the Resort 2012 collection. She accessorized with python sandals that matched her box clutch. I wish Robert had worn black too, but he kept it basic in a grey suit with a light blue button-down shirt.
Anja Rubik was spotted poolside in a one-of-a-kind take on the Resort 2012 collection. The beautiful model was clad in a black and white silk georgette, floral printed long-sleeve gown with a plunging neckline and a double floral broach at the waist.
